Design story & product details
Sparse whiskers break from the dark muzzle, where a pronounced nostril gives the zebra portrait a tactile edge. Fine stippling settles through the warm cream and black markings, softening each transition without losing the direction of the stripes.
Zebra Arrival centres on a right-facing head and long neck, drawn with hairlike strokes through the cheek, forehead, and nose. Two ears rise beyond the short bristly mane, while one shaded eye holds beneath the curved forehead bands. The Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt carries this dense portrait with its areas of open ground left intact.
Broad neck bands resolve into several pointed, ribbon-like ends, a detail that keeps the lower edge from finishing as a simple cut line. A muted-gold oval traces around the animal, slipping behind it in places and breaking open near the upper right. Its unfinished arc leaves the surrounding empty space active within the drawing itself.
Below the drawing, ARRIVAL is rendered in tall narrow serif capitals, with dark inner letterforms edged in gold. The word names an arrival in ordinary English, matching the animal’s deliberate rightward direction.
