Hangul Day Collection

Hangul Day falls on October 9. It celebrates the Korean alphabet, which King Sejong the Great created with his scholars and published in 1446 as Hunminjeongeum, “the proper sounds for teaching the people”. Its 24 letters were designed so that anyone could learn to read in a few days. This collection gathers our pieces built around Hangul lettering: everyday Korean phrases, poems and words drawn as illustrated type rather than set in a stock font. Each product page tells you what the Korean says and how to read it. Every piece is printed to order, and two or more items ship free.
