Design story & product details

Fine engraving lines carry into the print, so the jellyfish keeps its hatched, old-naturalist texture on a longsleeve tee. A mauve jellyfish has tangled itself through a barnacle-crusted pipe ladder, and its frilly arms and stinging tentacles curl down around the words Admire Me From a Slightly Greater Distance. The joke is a polite warning: it’s lovely to look at, but don’t touch.

It makes an easy birthday gift for the marine biology student who loves the ocean and prefers people at arm’s length.
