Design story & product details
The way ochre shadows gather on the gorilla’s shoulder shows careful attention to weight and muscle, with layered strokes just above the chest catching the shift from animal to landscape. The background city emerges where mountains break, skyscrapers pressed against reflective water. Every branch in the framing trees angles with the same windswept force that brushes the gorilla’s fur and the edges of distant clouds. A textured red-orange sun grounds everything in a muted glow—no open space, almost everything filled.
Along two scrolls in gold-lined block capitals reads “THE MAJESTY OF NATURE / THE ANCIENT SOUL OF THE CITY.” Below, thick script lines the bottom with sharp, thorn-like ends.
