At this scale the print holds every facet of the ibex sharp, so his sand, navy and teal planes look like cut stone on an oversized tee. He rears up on a jagged peak with one hoof cracking an ornate pillar, and his ridged horns curl right out of the gold arch that was supposed to hold him.

Next to him, “Beautifully framed, poorly contained.” steps down in tall shaded letters. The art does exactly what the words say. Give it to the hiker friend who never stays on the marked trail.
