Dark navy and white meet sharply across two curved ribbon banners, each outlined in deep black, and sewn at precise arcs. The upper banner carries slender serif capitals reading ‘BEFORE THE’, while below, the larger lower banner features ‘LIFEGUARDS’ set boldly in the same confident font. At the banners’ ends, steeply forked tails fold back with the dark navy undersides showing, keeping the layers visually tight and dimensional.
Caught between these banners and the neutral gray backdrop, a classic life preserver ring brings a splash of red and white, rendered in alternating segments with closely stitched details, including rope-like cross-hatching and small knots where the rope tucks in around the ring.
