Design story & product details
Grey and cream establish a muted base for black lettering and quick red punctuation. Black Bean Energy is a Heavy Blend Unisex Pullover Hoodie built around an illustrated jjajangmyeon poster: Seoul Comfort Food appears inside a rounded black capsule, while Jajang and Noodle Club rise in cream-filled, dark-edged condensed type. The upper-left edge of the J breaks into a small jagged nick, a deliberately rough note against the otherwise measured arches. Red blocks, twin black pinstripes and tiny stars give the type a signboard rhythm.
A beige ceramic bowl brings photographic texture to the graphic, with glossy dark cubes of black-bean sauce, visible noodles, and a pile of fine green scallion strips. Brown splashes, steam curls, and a few wandering noodle lines loosen the composition. Korean text appears in a cream capsule and a red scalloped seal; its phrases mean I can’t resist, Seoul sensibility, and black-bean-noodle addict. The badge’s scalloped edge has a seal-like finish. A broad brushstroke carries the Korean phrase beneath the bowl, then a tan outlined label repeats Black Bean Energy.
