A broad flat-gray field gives the artwork room to divide into a left-hand block of words and a lone figure on the right. On the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, Not a Care in the World is built in four stacked bursts of white bubble lettering, each edged in a heavy black line.

The four-line wording provides the artwork’s plain declaration, while the rainy setting and the girl’s still posture give it a deliberately dry visual contrast.
