Nobody is at the board in Chess After Hours, and the missing player is the joke. The desk lamp is still on and the king is halfway through falling over. The other pieces just stand there watching, as if the game finished itself after everyone went to bed.

I’d buy this sweatshirt for the old engraving-style hatching, especially the orange glow under the lamp shade. It suits the friend who plays online blitz well past midnight.
