Three children make their way over a jagged peak, where dark grey and black crosshatched stone is interrupted by long bands of colour.
The Children on Ribboned Rock artwork on a Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt brings teal, coral-red, mustard yellow, cream, and dark green fabric through the rock face in layered curves. Around the middle and lower stone, the folds become dense enough to partly veil the angular surface, while the plain grey ground remains open above and below.
At the top, a child in a cream shirt and dark green shorts reaches for the rock beside fabric that lifts into curled forms beyond the summit. Below, the red-shirted child climbs in blue jeans; the lowest figure, in a striped shirt, holds the lower edge in white socks and black shoes.
Some bands finish in torn, frayed ends, not neat cuts. Fine linework, stippling, and the irregular overlap of cloth over stone give the ascent its busy, tactile surface.
