A cream-white cockatoo with a spiky yellow crest bites through an ornate gold frame, giving “Smarter than the frame they put her in.” a literal punch line. Layered feathers and carved gold lettering give the wreckage a cut-paper feel, while the bird’s claws stay firmly hooked into the scrollwork.
