Design story & product details
The print gives the cream script and its navy offset shadow a lifted edge against the gray ground, with the letterforms climbing as they travel right. The shadow remains visible beneath every loop, giving the lettering a clean doubled edge.
“Croissants weren’t born” follows in a smaller hand, its baseline slanting forward before the illustrated pastry interrupts the words. The Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt carries the full phrase, “Croissants weren’t born in a single day,” as an image-led reminder that good layers take time.
At the middle, the croissant is not a plain bakery sketch: black contour lines carve its rolled folds into distinct sections, with dark maroon-to-black crevices between them. Yellow moves into orange and magenta-purple shading along the pastry, while scattered white specks catch on the surface like sugar granules or gloss. Its two narrow ends dip toward the lower left and lower right.
The final cream line arches gently under those tips. Broad gray openings around the words and pastry leave the composition free of props, texture, or extra imagery, so the lettering and pastry hold apart with room to breathe.
