Cream block lettering draws the eye through heavy, jagged capitals spelling “RACED” and “HERE TO WAIT” up top, each letter scored with rough scratches and sharp black outlines. Vibrant strips of red-and-black checkerboard liven up angles around the design, offset by a single shield marked “TIDEMARK DASH” and “1978” and ringed with teal leafy detail. The shield sits above a bold rear view of a racing car, low to the ground and marked with cream highlights, a prominent “28” on the door, and crisp red taillights. Cream and teal streaks pull out from beneath its wheels as if chasing its speed across the surface.
Details emerge in the background: wooded cliffs, angled chevron signs, distant mountain shapes, and the curve of a smoking ferry over deep water.
