Design story & product details
Angular blackletter strokes make large ivory words seem as if they are etched out of frost: “December” dominates the top, with “Has” directly below, then “Thorns” stretching across the chest. Small stars mark open spaces, while a slim crescent moon hovers near. The letters are edged in black and interrupted by speckling, giving an air of wear that suits the midwinter feel.
Descending into the lower half, black brambles with red triangular thorns cross in dynamic diagonals, threading their way beneath “Thorns.” Five mottled red fruits dangle below with dark stippling for depth, each finished with sharply pointed sepals. Uneven caps of ivory suggest snow caught on the stems and trailing into icicle points.
Narrow outlined capitals at the hem line quietly state “ROSE HIPS HOLD FAST,” joined by pointed ornaments and a centered star.
