Design story & product details
Cracked white block letters give way to faded slate-blue type, then to orange-tan brush lettering with jagged, hand-painted edges. Deep City Diver is a vertical poster composition built around those three distinct treatments, each carrying its own worn texture and black outlining.
A vintage brass diving helmet anchors the figure, with round glass portholes, visible bolts and a hose leading into a dark navy segmented suit. The unisex longsleeve T-shirt carries gloves, boots, a belt with a brass buckle, and a small clock or gauge at the waist; reddish-brown tentacles wrap the diver and curl outward through open grey space.
A faded city silhouette recedes behind the suit, while the side details read like recovered operational material: a pressure-club badge, hazard stripes, a wavy-line mark, coordinates, an anchor and a crossed-out dish. The vertical Korean lettering means “deep sea.”
At the lower edge, a torn no-signal tag and an access ticket bring in barcodes and zone language. The final torn banner uses purple serif lettering for “Below the Surface,” with “Est. 2026” and small stars beneath it.
