Design story & product details
Blue side panels and a yellow lower face break through the brushed gray cassette shell, while cream-white, brown, and black carry the finer graphic work. Edits Vol. 26 uses the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt for an illustrated tape whose diagonally tipped body gives loose brown strands room to curve around it. The arched black serif title is bracketed by two small blue diamonds and a fine underline.
- The cream-white label has a narrow yellow border, with blue pinstripes above and below the reel window.
- Two black-and-silver toothed reels reveal brown tape wound between them within a yellow trapezoid.
- Four-pointed yellow sparkles carry black outlines, while screws, lower-corner ridges, and tiny bottom cutouts preserve the cassette-shell construction.
Its deliberate imperfections come from the hardware details: each corner screw is visible, and the lower edge interrupts the clean block of color with small rectangular openings. The visible tape between the reels is especially considered, a warm brown line that connects metal hardware to loose looping strands outside the shell and label. The blend of precise type and exposed mechanics gives the familiar music object a distinctly illustrated finish without turning it into a flat icon.
