Across this heavyweight tee, Elegance Takes a Running Start arches over a skater pushing off across a moonlit rink between Gothic halls and a clock tower. Her black skate blade fills the foreground, throwing ice chips as it goes. The joke is a true one: on the ice, grace starts with a hard, scrappy shove.
