  • A marble lion has a crack in its side, and inside it the atoms are still buzzing
  • It looks great as a print and works as a quiet science joke too, because solid stone was never really standing still

Design story & product details

Through a crack in the lion’s side you can see what the stone is really made of. It’s a small ball-and-stick lattice, like the molecule model from chemistry class, with red flickers between the atoms.

That’s the joke behind Even Marble Moves. A statue that should be standing still is on the prowl, and its front paw steps right over the red letters on this heavyweight tee. Nothing is as solid as it looks. It makes a great gift for a chemistry teacher.
