Design story & product details

Thin white slivers left between the brush strokes keep the dark armor from closing in. Heavy mustard letters above and below spell gangan jeonsa, Korean for strong warrior, and a stern fighter stares out between them. He wears a tall helmet with a pointed top, layered cheek plates and a corded tie under his chin. On a long-sleeve tee, the scratched yellow and deep navy look like an old war poster that has seen some weather.

It’s a fitting gift for a taekwondo student about to test for a black belt.
