Design story & product details
The print gives the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt a frontal architectural emblem: a symmetrical two-tier gate in front of a golden-orange sun. Cream clouds, traced in gold, curl over the circle’s rim without breaking the clean white field around the structure. Each broad roof is built from closely repeated blue-grey tiles, with dark navy ridge lines and corners that turn upward. Beneath them, green undersides hold rows of small yellow-orange dots and densely spaced brackets, a level of repetition that keeps the gate from reading as a simple silhouette.
Red posts segment the green panels below, while a cream sign framed in brown and red carries three Korean characters. The Korean words mean Gate of Great Light, the meaning of Gwanghwamun. The pale cream base is warmer and more dimensional, with tan and brown shading surrounding three tall rounded archways whose interiors turn orange. Low tiled walls continue from both sides, and two small gold figures appear near the base’s upper corners. The composition holds its symmetry through dense roof ornament and a deliberately unfilled surrounding area.
