A two-tier palace provides the largest form in the artwork, its very dark green outline enclosing white wall spaces and bright red marks beneath both roofs and around the doors. Each broad roof turns upward at the ends, with closely drawn tile lines contained by a thick border that breaks from a smooth edge. Small tree silhouettes at either side leave the central staircase clear as it descends between sloped rails to a stone platform divided into horizontal sections. Rows of short, shaped balusters extend outward on both sides.
