Design story & product details
Coral-red linework meets a solid grey ground, with the single ink colour leaving every contour exposed. No tonal modelling interrupts it; texture arrives through hatching, rough brush grain and lines that stop before they are fully resolved.
Hanbok Style follows a loose top arc in splattered brush lettering. Hanbok means traditional Korean dress, and the phrase frames a young woman turned three-quarter right, her hair gathered into a low bun. Her high-collared jacket carries small floral embroidery motifs at the chest, while a broad sash finishes in a bow over the pleated skirt.
On the crewneck T-shirt, the skirt’s vertical folds thin out into unfinished strokes at the hem. Cloud and wave curls work through the open ground behind her, with small crescents and a noticeably denser build of marks on the right.
An antlered, spotted deer holds a profile position to the left of the skirt, balanced by a separate janggu drum and folding fan on the other side. The lower lettering changes scale and hand: a rough block Hanbok leads into the straight The Art of Dressing, ending with embroidered-style shoes resting on faint ground lines.
