A boulderer hangs off a mustard-yellow rock, seen from below, with one heel hooked high over his head and the other leg swinging free. His red shirt is riding up and his teal shorts are streaked with chalk. Beside him, jagged blackletter spells out Heels Change Everything, the kind of beta every climber learns the hard way.

The fine hatching on his straining calves is what sold me on this long-sleeve tee. It suits the friend who spends every weekend at the bouldering gym.
