The drawing never names the book, and that blank is the joke. A hand in heavy graphite grips a cracked, worn paperback, and three torn movie tickets stick out of its pages like bookmarks. In red marquee capitals they announce: Held over a third week: my favorite book.

It takes the old movie-theater brag and turns it on a reread, and on this sweatshirt the grimy ticket edges and punched holes make the joke land. Give it to the book club friend reading the same novel for the third time.
