Design story & product details
On the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, the crackle-textured two-colour artwork gives Hollywood Studio the worn surface of an old studio graphic without softening its crisp brown-black linework. Cream script reading Retro Diva arches in overlapping strokes, each letter edged by a heavy brown outline and shadow. Beneath it, a dark-curled pin-up woman closes her eyes and raises both arms, her rosy cheeks and pink strapless one-piece held in flat blocks of mauve-pink and cream.
Film equipment presses close around her in a rounded arrangement: a box camera on a tripod, spotlight, reel cameras, an old TV/radio unit and cables that weave through the gaps. The equipment is not background filler; its handles, reels and tripod legs make a dense frame around the figure. Fine cursive spelling Classic Pinupgirl crosses the hips and legs, followed by Hollywood and the smaller Studio in brown serif lettering. Grey appears only in the outer corners and narrow breaks among the machinery.
