Design story & product details
A coral dot near the lettering breaks the dense field with a small, warm mark. Around it, a few teal dots and clean white openings give the stacked words room to breathe.
HONGDAE STYLE appears in two tightly packed lines of heavy, irregular block lettering, with the upper word extending farther across than the lower one. Rounded corners, leaning strokes and uneven letter heights prevent the words from settling into a strict grid.
On the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, yellow letter tops give way through wavy boundaries to green and teal lower sections. Pale cream highlights catch along upper edges, while darker teal patches and short marks collect below. Thick black contours hold the faces together, and deep red offset forms push below and to the right, finished with black edges and a narrow pale tan rim.
Hongdae is the common Korean name for the area around Hongik University, so the wording reads as “Hongdae Style.” Narrow triangular and oval gaps remain white between several strokes, preserving the hand-drawn spacing within the compact composition.
