The red-orange gondola against all that watercolor blue is what got me. It hangs from a steel cable while “I take the lift for the view” climbs the same diagonal across this crewneck sweatshirt in tall, inky serif letters. It’s the honest answer of anyone who rides up the mountain mostly for the scenery, and the riveted silver door frames and gray bench through the windows make it feel drawn from a real ride.

It suits the friend who skips the black diamonds but never skips the ski trip.
