Design story & product details
Dark blue-purple ink meets white space in a fishing scene where the lettering leads. “I’d Rather Be” is formed in heavy upright capitals with subtly irregular, tapered edges, while “Fishing” expands into thick flowing script with a sweeping F and a looped descending g. The single dark tone holds the drawing together without closing in the white ground.
Four small flying bird silhouettes break the gaps beneath and beside the words. Dense evergreen forms climb both sides of an open waterway, with pointed tops varying along the banks and dark inverted reflections cut by white slashes.
The artwork on the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt leaves the middle clear before crowding the foreground with fishing gear. Broken curved marks describe the woven crown of the broad-brimmed hat; the rectangular tackle box has a rounded handle and a small pale latch.
A rod runs diagonally toward the right edge, passing over rough horizontal dock marks. That diagonal is the only long stroke in the lower scene, carrying the gear toward the open channel between the tree lines.
