Two taped-up hands lock onto each other’s forearms in a hard diagonal grip, the kind of hold that pulls someone back to their feet. A frayed strip of tape across one hand reads In My Corner in heavy maroon serif capitals, so a boxer’s wrap becomes a promise of loyalty. A grainy stipple of maroon, dusty rose and cream gives this heavyweight crewneck tee the look of an old fight poster.
