Design story & product details
Pale-grey established-2014 lettering makes a light first line before Incheon arrives in huge, heavy condensed capitals. Their distressed white scratches break up the fill, and the figures’ feet crowd into the letterforms so closely that the walking line feels tied to the type. Cool is kept to a smaller centred line, while Incheon, South Korea closes the composition in compact bold serif capitals. The words identify Incheon, a city in South Korea; all of the lettering is English.
Three side-profile walkers head to the right across the artwork on the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, their backpacks and staggered legs giving the scene its forward movement.
