Design story & product details
Only a narrow margin of flat grey remains around the edges; nearly everything else is taken up by lettering, the hatchback and the marks around its wheels. On the Men’s Oversized Heavyweight Crewneck T-Shirt, the garage joke becomes a crowded racing graphic, with It Sounded Cheaper rising toward the right and In the Garage closing the scene below. The heavy white capitals have speckled black distress, but their depth comes from thick black extrusions and separate red and blue shadows. Those offset layers make the words feel as busy as the car beneath them.
The boxy white hatchback leans forward at a low three-quarter angle, carrying red and blue side stripes and a black 47. Its roll cage and helmeted driver give the car more substance than a simple racing silhouette. Red, white and blue streaks mingle with paint splatter around the wheels, while checkered flags press into the right middle and lower left. The small round Flint Bend badge at upper right is framed by a navy laurel wreath, a quieter detail amid the oversized lettering.
- A second 47 appears in red italics with a navy outline at lower right.
