Design story & product details
Cream lettering meets dark red outlines and fine red inlines, with navy foliage threading between the tall, condensed slab-serif capitals. The engraving-style illustration brings a rose cane and open pruning shears into the same knot of stems. On the Men’s Oversized Heavyweight Crewneck T-Shirt, the three lines of lettering give that tangle a broad framework: an arched top line, a shorter line beneath it on the right, and a straight line across the bottom. A large red rose at centre left draws the lettering and tools into one garden scene.
- The cane cuts diagonally through the composition, its cross-hatching giving the stem a worked, textured surface. Navy leaves and red thorn-tipped stems curl around the letters, with red buds at the top and right.
- The shears have navy handles, a silver blade and a coiled spring. Vines wind through the open tool, while a circular inset on the right enlarges the pivot bolt.
- Small navy labels send arrows into the tangle, and a dashed arc finishes at a red X. Those fine marks bring the precision of a technical drawing into the unruly stems.
Small patches of plain grey remain visible at the edges, giving the outer vines room to separate. It suits someone who enjoys gardening and the awkward decisions that come with it.
