Design story & product details

There’s nothing to hold onto between the bar and the sky, and the joke is built on that gap. A pole vaulter in a red singlet arches backward over a striped crossbar with one arm trailing, his pole falling away below him, and the lettering calls it just borrowing some airspace. On this crewneck sweatshirt, the engraved, cross-hatched drawing shows every spike on his shoes and every face in the packed stands, so it looks like an old meet program.

It suits a high school pole vaulter heading into track season.
