Design story & product details
An elongated star splits the two rules below the curved “SINCE SEOUL” line, a small interruption in an otherwise measured run of solid capitals. Seoul Ridge Sun is artwork for the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, built around “KOREA” in oversized outlined serif lettering. The English wording reads “KOREA SINCE SEOUL”: Korea names the country, and Seoul names its capital city. Each major letter keeps a white interior within heavy black borders and nested contours, while the O, R and A each hold four-point stars.
- Pointed mountain ridges carry short black slashes and densely grouped evergreen silhouettes behind the lettering.
- A white circular sun rises behind the central peak, framed by fine straight rays and an incomplete outer arc.
- Long outlined clouds sweep in from both sides as crowded waves gather below in foam lobes, bubbles and tightly flowing lines.
Open white space through the sun and large letter interiors keeps the black linework legible, even where the lower water becomes a tight network of curves.
