Design story & product details

On a jersey tank, the fine engraved hatching turns soft and grainy, so the orange and slate-striped hot air balloon looks like an old woodcut. Two riders, one in a cap and one with long hair, drift off in the wicker basket under heavy blackletter that reads “Let’s Go At Wind Speed.”

The joke is that a balloon only goes as fast as the breeze. Down in the corner, a fan is still blowing air into another envelope. Give it to a couple booking their first balloon ride for an anniversary.
