Description
Lettering defines the energy of this artwork, with every word set in thick outlines and a wavy, almost fluid contour. The piece arranges ‘FOLLOW’ in an arcing swell, the letters pressed into motion by their own swelling shape, while ‘THE’ bridges the energy between top and center. ‘SANDBAR’ spreads widest, individual letters shifting in height and heft, delivering a visual rhythm. The cream tan inside each form is held securely by dark teal outlines, anchoring the playful distortion against the flat gray ground.
Caught just below the text is the halftone stingray—a visual anchor rendered in a meshed fade from dark teal to cream, its eyes small and almost shy. Puddle shapes ripple outward beneath the ray, dripping in multiple spots, creating the illusion of watery motion that blurs into the cream pools. Teal outlines define every edge of these forms, keeping the composition in a dynamic push-pull.
