Design story & product details
Love is the largest form here: four distressed block letters run across the grey field in alternating white-filled and grey-filled treatments. Their torn, spray-like edges and uneven baseline keep the word from reading as a clean row. Some letters touch, giving the central word a compressed, cut-and-pasted rhythm.
A curly-haired cherub, cross-legged at the top centre, spreads its wings behind a high-contrast black-and-white figure. Brushy, stencil-like marks break through the dark areas, while the feet overlap the lettering below. The wing tips carry the same rough ink texture as the hair.
Four tattoo-style rose clusters bracket the figure and word: two larger blooms at the upper sides and two smaller ones lower down. Layered white petals hold within black outlines, and jagged leaves sharpen their mirrored arrangement.
On the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, the Love Cherub artwork keeps its crowded black-and-white top and bottom against open grey at either side of the main word. Openmind closes the composition in tight rounded white type; its capital O and M interrupt otherwise lowercase letters, and scratches eat into nearly every character.
