Design story & product details
The gray ground remains open around the marks, allowing the dense column of type to give way to a human outline that thins into airborne grit. Memento Mori Earthbound on a Heavy Blend Unisex Pullover Hoodie treats its inscription and figure as one scene: a robed body, grounded at the feet, coming apart at the edges. Memento mori is Latin for remember that you must die.
- On the left, For You Are and And To frame two ornate Dust lines, while Return expands across the bottom in heavy black letters.
- Thin red shadowing follows the black letterforms; beneath Return, red strokes run under the baselines, with star and diamond marks breaking the stack.
- The figure’s draped toga-like folds are rendered in grainy shade, and its feet disappear into cracked earth threaded with twigs.
A fine red circular burst rings the head without closing into a solid disc. At the lower left, a rooted tree appears inside a narrow circle; the opposite lower corner carries a small crosshair, while a leafy branch reaches in beside the earth. The upper compass-star, dotted red rule, script flourish, and Earthbound Series and Screen Print Spec. markings supply the quieter margins of the composition.
