Design story & product details
Large slab-serif letters with rough edges and scattered breaks stretch nearly to the boundaries, their heavy cream forms pressed close to thick navy shadows. The separate phrases, “MISSED IT.” above and “KEPT WALKING.” below, fill the top and bottom, angled just enough to feel hurried. The lower words arch across a dense cobblestone street, where a tram car’s rounded front faces the viewer, set against a sweep of city details. There are tiny specks, nicks, and slanted tops built into the lettering, with a few odd gaps above the tram and between words.
Along the rails, delicately lined buildings crowd the left side, layered with balconies, window shutters, street bollards, and a classic lamp jutting from an ornate mount above. Each part of the scene is trimmed in the same sharp cream, while a dark curve at the very bottom spells out “LISBON ON FOOT,” naming the city and suggesting a journey taken a step at a time. Worn-in and careful, the print suits those who appreciate graphic city views or remember wandering unfamiliar streets.
