Two small orange arrows squeeze a pad labeled Compression, and the puffy pad below it, labeled Recovery, springs back. That’s the lesson behind this oversized heavyweight tee. A football helmet comes apart to show its padding, and More Time, Less Force runs underneath in torn white and orange capitals. If you stretch out the moment of a hit, the blow lands softer. It’s impulse physics, explained by a helmet.

A thin crack runs through the O in Force. Give it to a physics teacher who never misses a Friday night game.
