Design story & product details
Cream serif lettering with a fine black edge traces the arc of a torn charcoal banner, whose pale distress marks echo the worn breaks in the ink below. Never Give Up and Stay Strong carry the upper message, while the vertical side columns press close beside the broad calligraphic strokes. The Korean word is Korean for dream, giving Dream Big a direct companion in the message. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, Never Give Up brings together these words with a black brushstroke character whose tapered ends and rough edges carry tiny cream and gold-toned interruptions.
Below, Keep Going, Work Hard and No Excuses appear in two weighted cream lines, with the larger line leading and a smaller line beneath it. Scratchy ornamental curls and star-like flourishes break out at either side, and a single five-point star finishes the composition. Open gray gaps preserve room between the banner, character and lower lettering, while the narrow side messages tighten the frame around the character’s extended strokes.
