Design story & product details

Open space surrounds the art, broken only by two thin circuit traces that reach out to the sides, so the robot head on this oversized heavyweight tee does all the talking. It’s drawn front-on in off-white and charcoal with fine hatching, and its curved side shields swing open like wings.

The slogan is the joke: the hardware got upgraded, the mood didn’t. My favorite part is the tiny goggle-eyed mask face between the two big camera eyes. It’s an easy birthday pick for a teenage gamer.
