Description
A thin black rule runs from VINTAGE VIBES toward a little yellow globe-grid disc, an easy-to-miss connector in an otherwise busy streetscape. VINTAGE arcs in oversized yellow block lettering, edged in black, while VIBES lands below on the left. The angular letterforms have no serifs. Four women move through the scene in coats and skirts shaped by 1960s illustration: two wear teal trench coats, one pairs a black top with a brown skirt and plaid cap, and another crouches in teal with a newspaper. Flat skyscrapers, minute pedestrians and a street lamp leave a broad quiet section of gray sky at upper left.
Newsstand Readers gives the crewneck T-shirt a comic-panel city scene with a yellow kiosk taking over the right side. Its tightly packed magazine rows are picked out in small blocks of color beneath the red-and-cream ANE NEWS board. Red appears again only in the partial storefront wording, LAIUTEDA S, while mustard, teal, brown, black and cream keep the drawing disciplined. Heavy outlines and clean cel-shaded areas make the figures, buildings and kiosk read with the crisp graphic treatment of a comic page.
