Design story & product details
Open grey space gives the navy drawing room to extend beyond its central disc. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, Night Watcher is rendered in curved cursive that arches over the image, with fine tails and swashes crossing slightly into the circle below. The large round backdrop has the uneven, mottled wear of distressed paint, leaving grey patches through its navy surface and suggesting a weathered moon.
A thin crescent appears within the upper-left of the disc while bare, forked branches reach out from either side into the unmarked ground. The owl is built from navy line-work and carefully retained grey space: scalloped chest feathers, layered wings, sharply pointed ear tufts and wide circular eyes are all distinct. Its small hooked beak faces forward, and its clawed feet close around a straight branch. The bird breaks the lower edge of the disc, where its tail feathers continue into the plain grey field.
- The cursive lettering uses thin, flowing strokes with overlapping letterforms.
- Distressed grey mottling interrupts the navy circular backdrop.
- Leafless branches extend beyond the disc on both sides.
