Two dark red clock hands with spade tips are almost at midnight, and a navy bat with pale pink wings turns its small red eye up to check them. Below it, tall art-deco letters spell Nocturnally Punctual, and a curling line ends in a red dot that works like a firm period. The joke on this hoodie is simple: staying up all night is fine, but being late for it is not.

It suits a night-shift nurse who clocks in on the dot and expects the after-dark crowd to do the same.
