Design story & product details
Grey space is left exposed around the composition, with open bands beyond the top and bottom lettering. “NOT ALL BATTLES” presses into the upper margins in tall condensed slab characters, its thin dark edging holding a red-to-yellow transition that warms from left to right. Lower down, “ARE VISIBLE” returns in the same compressed letterform, beginning in red and moving into orange.
A helmeted side profile becomes a skull-like silhouette filled with a smoky yellow-orange burst, broken by dark cloud marks and halftone dots. The large walking soldier cut from that field carries a rifle; straps and pouches show along his back, while three smaller figures follow, including one child-sized shape. On the Heavy Blend Unisex Pullover Hoodie, jagged dark rubble and splatter at the base give the figures a ground line without filling the surrounding grey. The words read “NOT ALL BATTLES ARE VISIBLE.”
- The upper letter line is slightly cropped and overlaps in places.
- Dark cloud blotches interrupt the warmer texture inside the profile.
- Broad negative space remains visible at the far top and bottom edges.
