Red slab-serif lettering drives the composition from its first line: “OUTLAWS” is broad and black-edged, while “WEST” drops in far taller condensed characters beside it. Angular cuts, white inner openings, and narrow white channels keep the letterforms sharply separated even as they press tightly together. “OF THE” runs vertically at the side of the larger word, giving the wording a sign-painter’s stacked rhythm. On the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, the illustration shares that compact arrangement with a bearded cowboy rendered in black and white, his face turned outward under a wide, curved-brim hat.
- A row of circular star ornaments traces the hatband, a small detail that repeats the five-point stars bracketing “BORN WILD LIVE FREE.”
- The cowboy’s red neckerchief is not contained at the collar: its pointed ends extend to the right behind the figure.
