Design story & product details
Three dark, brush-like characters form the Korean name Gwanghwamun, meaning Gate of Enlightenment, within a small cream plaque. Palace Gate on the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt builds outward from that plaque into a symmetrical gateway with two broad roofs whose corners turn upward.
- Closely spaced blue-grey ribs run across the dark roof surfaces, framed by pale-grey ridgelines and green eaves punctuated with small gold rectangles.
- Red posts and horizontal rails divide the olive-green sections beneath the roofs, while small gold shapes mark the upper corners of the central wall.
- A strip of grey-brown square panels, each carrying a cream circle, leads into three tall rounded archways filled with overlapping brown and ochre forms; low side walls continue beneath dark blue tiled caps.
The densely worked roof details contrast with the broad, open lower wall, ending in a long rounded ochre base with darker bands layered underneath.
