Fine scratchy marks run through the pale crescents, breaking their smooth cream surfaces with a hand-worked texture. Dark brown arcs hold each curved slice in place, while ochre gathers along the edges like toasted shading.
Pie Geometry is an overhead tart illustration for the Classic Cotton Tote Bag, built as a tightly wound spiral beneath a thick golden crust. Smaller pieces compress into a busy knot at the middle, then open outward into broader crescents, making the filling read as layers cut and arranged by hand.
The rim is not a plain circle: a dark brown scalloped outline follows its uneven perimeter, with a slim cream trace just inside it. Brown stippling and scattered pale specks mottle the crust, giving the edge more variation than the smooth, light interior slices.
A triangular wedge breaks away at the lower right, repeating the same curved layers beneath its broad crust edge.
