Design story & product details
“PUNK” is drawn in oversized, uneven block letters, its pale interiors held inside thin doubled outlines and broken by gray distressing. The outer characters descend along the sides, creating a frame that narrows toward the skull.
The skull is rendered with hollow eye areas, dark nasal marks, and two distinct rows of individually drawn teeth. A decorated crown presses into the space below the lettering, while curved bands, beadlike dots, pointed ornaments, and looping lines gather around the head in fine detail.
On the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, thornlike black curves trace both sides of the graphic and grow denser near the lower corners. Against the mostly white and extremely pale gray artwork, those darker marks give the drawing its sharpest interruptions.
Outlined lettering and fractured small lines finish the lower section. They include Punk USA NYC Eternal Rebellion and a message framing punk through resistance and defiance in the face of conformity.
